Her Story

Growing up in Brazil Flora was raised to be a smart woman… an intellectual… a bookworm… Being a model wasn’t in the “script”. Flora’s modeling and acting career happened after she relocated from Brazil to the U.S.  “It wasn’t long before people here started asking me if I was a model, so I started believing that there must be something there for me”, she says with a smile.

In 2006 Flora placed as runner up in a Miss Brasil-USA beauty pageant, kickstarting a successful career as a model. In 2010 Flora started taking acting lessons and began acting on commercials. She has been on commercials for online merchants, furniture stores, universities and for Ford Motor Co. as a precision driver. Flora is also the face of downtown San Diego.

Flora has acted on stage in San Diego, including La Jolla Playhouse’s Without Walls festival and had her debut in Hollywood in 2017, after co-writing a play directed by Megan Foley Marra and Chuck Marra of the Foley Marra Studios. She has also starred in independent films in San Diego and Los Angeles, and has a couple of scripts under development.

Flora is represented in San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles.

Rainy days, reading, writing, driving, cooking, rock-climbing, Yoga, and origami are Flora’s top favorites.
